Hi Andrew,  The rain has not started yet.  Unless an absolute flood happens it will be on.
Are you riding the 500 again?

We should try to get ADB or another magazine to run a article on this event. I think it would help make the event grow and let people know what they are missing out on. Awesome track, run perfectly and a great atmosphere. What more do you want. Thanks

Just getting the track watered. It's gunna be perfect :-\.   I hope there's some more competition for you this year Andrew.  The young feller on the IT200 is out with an injured shoulder :(
To keep the entry costs down, www.metalink.net.au are sponsoring the Transponders again, Thanks Kel.  VMX are sending something up for the teams again and CMH the trophies.  Thanks Chris and Ken.

I know what you are saying about coverage.  This year was a bit of a mess with dates and not wanting to clash with other VMX and Enduro events.  I hope to have a mate there to take photos so at least I will have some photos to show people how good it is.

Geez I just realized I haven't sorted the team format.

Ex Aust Enduro champ Peter Baguleys just completed XR350.

Looks like at least one other travelling up to race, possibly 2 starters plus myself. That's almost a team? Another SWM in the comp. can't wait to get rolling :)

You can only ride one bike Simo or do you have more than one bum?

Thanks Jeff ... but I was referring not only to the venerable PE, but also the YZ and CR that I am prepping for the PC Nats :)

As usual, I'm biting off more than I can chew and chewing like hell .. who else starts 2 bike rebuilds 5 weeks from an event?  Certainly not anyone sane that's for sure.

Bags certainly has been busy, as you said simo , last Wednesday he was talking about what colour to paint the frame. Hope our track watering programme doesn't get out of control. :-\

Any updates on how the weather is going to affect this event ? I was planning to drive down from Townsville on Friday morning, but I am seeing weather forecasts on the news, of heavy rainfall and possible flooding in SEQ. I travelled down and rode my Maico GS250 in last year's event and had a great time. But to do it this year, I will have to take 3 days off work and drive a 3000km round trip and don't know if it is worth taking the risk on the weather.
