I have made some tentative inquiries and already have a couple of possible venues.  The next thing is coaches.  I think everyone would prefer older coaches, but we may have to settle for some in the 30s.

I will keep everyone informed.

I'm talking about the SEQ(Brisbane) area, so I think there is a possibility of other people ding something similar in other States.

Guys I not thinking about Dalby, I,m working on Southside Brisbane.

Be patient.  However it sounds like some are keen to do something very soon.  Give me the weekend to sort something.

It sounding good guys.  An older coach might be more simpathetic to lack of fitness and aches and pains (although I'm working on the fitness part  ;D )

I'm sure we could scrape together 15 riders.  Between QVMX and BMCC there are a lot of members (and that's only the clubs).

The Vintage track at QMP would be nice.  Good practice for some of the QVMX rounds  :-\
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

As I said I travel. Brisbane is no problem, give me a chance to catch up with Mum.Tell me where & when & we can go from there. It is always handy to have a couple of coaches if you have someone in mind. I am more than willing to be an assistant coach. I actually realy like working with other coaches.

Coaching was the best birthday present I ever given when Jim Pomeroy ran the class at Coles Creek on the Saturday before a raceday, so much fun with a  personal touch from a great man.

Geeez, you'd go a long way to get a better coach.

What about Glenn Bell or Steven Gall  ::)

I also know of a coach ( Was awarded 2008 coach of the year ) Older guy like us, and interested in VMX. Raced at Conondale last year.
Has his own natural terrain track not too far from Brisbane. Have sent him a PM to see if he is available / interested.
I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

I think we might be talking to the same guy... ;)

If we are, he is working away and has limited availability but happy to work in with him to make this happen.

Keep us posted.

Thanks

Yes we are Charlie B. Got a message last night saying he would love to help out with coaching. Just needs to do a bit more track maintenance and he will post here when it's ready.
