Great weekend, worked all weekend as a flaggy on the main mx  track, not a lot of riders using it, I think they where having more fun on the pre 78 track, the speedway and dirt track was great to watch,  the road racing was also good, beautiful machinery, people everywhere. bring on next year. thanks to all who came, and it was great to catch up with the friends from interstate. and many thanks  to everyone that supported me to help fix my trailer. and to my close friends, it was a worrying time for me.

Another great event, well done to the organisers and volunteers that make it happen.

I was spectating again, but reckon I'll be back with bike(s) in 2015.

The BB is a great event, however the condition of the main MX track on Saturday was atrocious! I guess I can't say this without offending someone but whoever made the decision to grossly over water the track to the point of it being almost shin deep thick gunk, has no idea. While the rest of the event seemed to go off nicely, The MX track on Saturday was utter pox verging on dangerous. Very poor indeed. I wasn't there on Sunday but hopefully for the riders it was much better.

Big K's right the track was very disappointing I managed only 2 laps then had to put it away, I came a bloody long way for those 2 laps too, there was no need for the amount of water on the track, and I agree it was potentially dangerous and far from fun and enjoyable.

Yes it was another ripper this year, As Canam said Good on Johnny Orchard on Sunday morning for sorting out the Main MX track, the pace was 100% up on Sat arvo. Everyone who fell down got back up and continued on, special shout out to the young lass on the YZ125 who kept on keeping on, great intestinal fortitude  ;)

Just got home and unloaded my gear ,Another big easter ,good to catch up with everyone .Track was shithouse on Saturday and if the organizers think they can serve that up and get everyone back next year there wrong. The track was better after johnny O hoeing the whole track and sunday was good  Emma was on the YZ125K and she rode both days she had a  few get offs but she kept going back and cutting out some good laps . I pulled up a bit sore after KBs fart machine and OvertheBars Ian stunt show last night .I pissed myself laughing for hours .The millers hit the spot too Thanks Alison & Steve .Andrew Hill .

Slider #29/Mark went looking for you today and got a lead to Jody Mason.Nice polite guy dripping with classic DT style. 8) Catch you up another time.

Sorry I missed you 247. I was there for the sat. only. Next year I'll try for both days. Yes J.M. is a top bloke.
He was on fire Sat. especially riding his Weslake on the dirttrack. I spent the day in the pits with Jody and
Rick Wason,..another top bloke with a great sense of humour. I had a ball.
regards  Mark
ps. what happened to Alvin? I watched him do a few laps early on.

After being at every bike Bonaza i must say i think numbers were down on both day in the mx area  one thing that was a stand out was the way Penrite presented themselves they were at every spot speedway road race and the main display at the mx track much better than Honda,s dismal efforts in past years. As for the track Im with Hilly it was absolutely terrible almost unridable for the first session and for John to have to go out and get it in a reasonable state says allot for his dedication to the cause a big thanks John. Had  a great weekend of meeting up with some friends and some good campfire banter even if the track was so bad.

I do agree the main track is not vmx friendly, and there was to much water. and for side cars, please give it a miss.

Had a great day Saturday at the Bonanza and met more new people from the forum including Slider29. It was great to put a face to the names. Rode my dads Bultaco hagon and my Godden  speedway bike most of the day. I think I was more tired watching Jody line up time after time than I was from riding. Worst part was I forgot to train last year and ran out of puff again. Might have to get off my ass this year and really set some goals.

Thanks to the sponsors and also to the many people that put in their time to make this event what it is. Regards Rick " fat man in a catsuit "

FWIW, there's a post floating around on FaceSook along the lines of "14 hours in the car, 3 hours flagging, for 20 minutes on the track".
No idea of which track (I assume the road race track, but really am just guessing).

I was keen to go this year, but it's a week before the Nationals and Brownie points are in limited supply...
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
