Multi task.  A two stroke grinder Margarita blender rolling starter thingo.... ;)
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Oh, and instead of being at the Phillip Island Classic last weekend, I spotted your mate Mick Hockley at the world Blokart champs last weekend... 8)
Micks heavily into sail boarding so Blokarts aren't a million miles away in the progression of things. They appeal to me as well but it's a bit like salt lake racing.....too far to travel.

Good idea ! But be warned Firko, if you're using a grinder-powered start roller, just lean on them for bursts of 5 seconds or so at a time, as protracted use will soon lead to the emission of the fragrant odour of melting wiring...
I've decided to get one as well so I may look into those big block Chev starter motor driven starters. Jonesy's going the grinder power route but I've had reservations about them after sniffing Hockley's at Nepean dirt track while starting my cranky Maico. It smelled like my Jag dash did when the heater shit itself ;D. I'll be looking into the choices over the next couple of weeks.

is this the main Bonanza thread?

just over 3 weeks to go and I can't wait. there's so much to see and do. Anybody else from the Canberra region or Heaven going along?

My boy wants us to camp on Sat night. Do you pick your own spot or do they allocate you a campsite? Where's the best place to set up? I'll be riding the mx track.

cheers

Hey guys,

Just letting you know that for the first time your oil needs will be met on site. Yes, Penrite Oil will be selling their product from the Penrite Honda Motocross truck parked just behind the front office. Also, they will be giving all riders a sample from their range once you check in.

Cheers,

Well we have had a bit of rain of late but it has only been a constant drizzle for the last couple of days, filled me water tank which is a bonus, it was only 5 or 6 weeks back I had to buy water so I reckon it rained about $200 worth :o
It has soaked in good, my paddocks although wet don't look that bad, I probably shouldn't mention it but I think I saw it clearing tonight.

A couple of fine days since the rain now and everything is drying out nicely, paddocks are looking really loamy at the moment.

Well I just entered for the event, just riding the KX400 in the Pre 80 MX sessions.   I presume entering is automatically for both the Sat & Sunday?

The weather is looking awesome for the weekend, I think this'll be the first Bonanza that the unsealed areas won't be a dust-bowl, there isn't any rain forecast, just a slight drizzle in the lead-up to make the dirt nice  :-)
