« on: January 18, 2014, 08:18:19 pm »
Hi there I am after a 125 motocrosser. Any make any model, the only condition is it must be running, have twin shocks, drum brakes and be air cooled.

I've still got my YZ125D. Doesn't strictly meet your "twin shock" criteria, but is still allowed to race where the twin shock bikes of the same age are...

Good luck... For $1k you might get a dunger YZ-E or RM-C, but ALL of the Pre-78 bikes will command more than $1k if they're running.  Ditto all of the later Evo bikes - the 78 models are the lowest valued bikes because they're basically 77 models and are outclassed by the 79+ models that they race against in Evo.

You can have my basket case 125D for $500.

1000???

I bought this for $1,400

Maybe a bit high but the guy I got it off was a real nice guy ( and the bike was really unmolested )

Then I thought I was smart and bought this for a grand

Guess which was the biggest s$&box.

The red one!!!

Hi Nathan, a dunger is all I'm after. The bike doesn't  need to qualify for a certain period. I'm only chasing something for a teams race on private property near Colac in the coming months. It's only a bit of fun. My other bits of fun include a 74 VR 250 cappra, a 77 VB 360 cappra, nearly finished a GMC HL, 2 TY 250's, TLR 250 and a few late model bikes.
