Re-Chroming of fork tubes
« on: January 15, 2014, 10:11:07 am »
Have got a pitted/rusty set of fork tubes on my 82 CR250 that I want to get stripped & re-chromed. Anybody know of any companies out there who will do a good job at a fair/reasonable price?

Ideally in SA or Vic would best but happy to ship them elsewhere if thats the best option, cheers

I had the YZ80 forks done at RAD,i thought they were pretty shot but they came back better than new(alot stronger chroming than what was available back in the day, more like chrome on a hydraulic ram) and as said above $300 for the pair, now i have them back and on the bike i don't even know why i pondered over the price, one happy camper yes ;)

cheers Dale.
