Hi there from an old brissy bloke
« on: January 09, 2014, 11:15:00 pm »
Must be about time i introduced myself ,as i have been a silent member for some time,i hope to get into some vintage racing this year 2014.I have a restored yam yz490 j and an unrestored yz 125 j ,but ideally would like to find a pre 75 or pre 78 model 250 ,maybe an mx or yz .As yet i havn't joined a club yet ,but i was thinking probably qvmx as my 2 x bikes are 82 models. I would say i will be a bit rusty on the track as my last race day was in 1977 at Albert district club at the newly constructed Stanmore park track.Hope to get out there and meet some fellow racers and restorers soon ,cheers.
