Ferris will be good in the outdoors, he showed what he can do last year in the GP's but there are high expectations of him by KTM in both SX and Outdoors..
Little bit tuff on him early John. If you see his interview on foxsports he was "hired" for the outdoors and if the likes of Roczen could not "win" first time out (finished 7th when he started on the 250's) a guy who got a late deal to ride and has had little time to prepare would have little to none in that field.
A lot of riders out there are on factory bikes not just him. different class but he out scored Stewart??
As an Aussie I will give him time to settle in before giving it to him.
Glad I don't have you as a team manager mate
Shane maybe I expected too much but I thought he'd be well up into the top ten not 14th with a bunch of privateers in front of him but it's only the first race so no drama. For comparison last year Ryan Marmont riding selected rounds as a privateer scored some top ten placings.
And Roczen was actually challenging for podiums straight up in his first year, it was crashes and injury that saw him end up 7th.
Don't forget the lites is split into 2, West and East so only half the good guys are in his races.
Anyway he's an Aussie and he grew up riding just as much Supercross as Reed, Byrner, Moss twins etc so he'll be OK when he settles in... It's only been 1 race
