Hello from New Zealand
« on: December 16, 2013, 04:40:41 pm »
Hi guys, just a quick hello from Christchurch New Zealand.
Just got into VMX after years of riding modern dirt, quad and road bikes.
Have imported a 1985 KX500B1 from California, and will be riding it in local VMX events.
Love those 2 Stokes!   Done a couple events so far, but still sorting out the suspect jetting!

You need to talk to TMBill on here, his bark is worse than his bite so don't be intimidated by him. He's in Taupo and can let you know whats happening around the country.....he's a green man too.....the Johnny Old is on next year in Levin...it's the Kiwi's biggest event....make sure you do it.....don't bring any of that Canterbury draught up though.....there's a homo from Auckland that will relieve you of it(Suzuki59....he's easy to spot......look for the guy circulating in second gear everywhere with the gay Dalmation JT riding gear on). Old mate uncle Bazza might be there also.....but he's a gentleman.
QVMX.....Australia's #1 VMX club......leading the way.

Ha Ha, I worked in Wellington in the late 1970's and remember Carmen well! (Professional speaking of cause!)

Hi Steve re Carmen I don't doubt you of course ! But watch out for Davey he's a closet donut lover and notorious crasher more suited to the nitro circus then VMX  :D

Suzuki 59  in Daveys defence he does allways enjoy rocket fuel(I mean schnapps) and a magareeta or 2 after a day on the track, and he never mentions cruasders or Banjos!!
