Here we are a week into the second month of 2014 and still have no details of the Classic Dirt Track Nats. As I wrote previously, it's just not good enough, we all have work commitments and time and financial allocations to sort out and with the high number of quality events on the classic program on both the dirt track and motocross side, the Classic Dirt Track Nats stands to lose a fair smattering of potential entries if the details aren't announced pretty damn soon.  Classic Dirt is in the same situation but I have an fair idea of the problems they're having in finalising the details for that.

Not that I would be riding (except maybe my eyes get better and at Nepean) but I think running it at Grasy's place would be the go, at least the pit area is better and the toilet/shower area is civilised. No complaints from me regarding the officials at either place, both helpful when I was there. cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

Been told that it will be at Canberra as they are the only club that has applied only thing that's holding things up is that the club did not put a event date on the application things move slow at MA.

There's no need to split it. If they were splitting the event one would assume that there would be two tentative dates.

This is turning into a farce. How hard is it to get it done if ACT were the only applicant? As far as the ACT club leaving the date off the application, you'd think a phonecall to the club from MA backed up with a covering email would have it sorted within a day...two at the most. This is bureaucracy at its stupidest.

How are they expected to do anything when they are swanning around at Phillip Island Superbikes all last weekend.Hang on, that's work isn't it 8)

Wonder how many we'll get to the PCMX at Toowoomba. I'll bet they are chomping at the bit to be there to hand out free piss all Saturday night.
