"We could make you an honorary Bananalander Firko. ;D.....you wont be allowed Maicos in Uzbekistan and they would probably eat Reggie."

Three more bloody solid reasons not to Mark! ;)
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Are there any meetings suitable for Pre '75 Classic bikes at Coffs Harbour in 2014 ?..........My son, his wife and the grandkids live at Sawtell and would love to see The Old Fella have a skid....... ;D

how about somewhere without the need for a water truck,Temora certainly opened my eyes to that ,bugger canberra we been there done that  ;),sorry pancho, you need to get out more  :D,i didn't get on with north brizzy track, couldn't come to grips with it  ::), how about maryborough middle of winter  8), Coffs Harbour ,wheres firekwa :Pk??,

Maybe if the Brissy boys run it the MMCC will let you do it at Action Park? Just suggesting as a plan as my attempts to get a state or national event held on that awesome track have been beaten into oblivion. Needless to say they booted me out of the committee! I'll be happy to put up a submission to them to get this venue utilised to its full potential.

Cheers,
Steve

Loose oil maryborough sounds like aplan for 2014 classic dt and coffs for 2015 how good is this  ::) I mean how good would it be  8)

Loose oil like Griffith is the go, I never liked the hard packed tracks.
When is that meeting likely to be on at Coffs FireKwaka?

I keep telling you Firko to move up to QLD, it will save a lot of fuel money, Reggie and your mum will love the climate (plus of course your mum would just be coming home)....you'll be on the "winning" team in the State of Origin and nearly everything else (you can still support the bunnies from up here). You will have to leave your Blues and Tah's guernzies in the litter bin at the border crossing though. ;D.....MMF (Mark Maroon Firkin)...ps....Gally's up here to so he wont have to go far to ride the OW72. 8)
I'd rather move to Uzbekistan.

Fancy going to the "Deep North" Funny politics up there! They've even managed to find a new JOH clone too run the place!
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

It won't be long before someone comes on here to remind us 'southerners' just how wonderful Joh was. ::).
Joh jokes aside, I think it's about time that the title venue is announced. We need time to map these things out. While my ideal would be to have it at Nepean I know that's not an option and I think Canberra and Temora have had their go for a while so where the hell is it going to be?.

We'd be more than happy to run it here at TEMORA again, but it's a bit unfair to everyone else. Honestly i'd love to see condobolin hold it, i'm sure they held the classic titles back there in 90's anyhow i believe that it needs to be run on an oil track (loose or hard) otherwise it'll be impossible to run all the events and i think splitting the meeting into classic and post classic will kill it, there just is'nt enough entries by doing that to make it a successful meeting....... anyhow best wishes to the club that takes it on..... and i'll TRY my best to make it to the 2014 classic titles ( no matter where they are ) REGARDS : ASH 666

Any more news of the venue? I'm a little selfish here but I'd like to be able to work out a travel schedule for the year.

I agree,CDT hasn't got the depth of entries that VMX enjoys so there's no need for a split right now.

We're now a week into 2014 yet there's still no word on the venue for the 2014 Classic Dirt Track Nats. Not good enough.
