Two great tracks. I remember locking a Maico gearbox on the straight at Woodstock Park in '73 which brought me down and half of the field ran over me, most of them coming to grief too. The prang got a half paragraph mention in Revs, my first magazine appearance . But I digress......I love Condo dirt track but never hear of it any more. Is it used much for senior competition? The Condo Greybeards meeting used to be the best vintage dirt track meeting on the calendar, often twice as many entries as the Nats. A great meeting sadly lost to the sport.

The Harley Cub of Victoria (HCV) will put in for CDT titles for 2015 to be held at Broadford.

That's good news, I love Broadford, it's my favourite track.

I'm thinking it'll be somewhere in Queensland but lets just wait until the official announcement. I hope that comes soon though as we need to schedule our road trips for 2014. Right now I've got HBBB at Broadford, Classic Nats in Port Augusta, the Post Classic Nats in Toowoomba Qld, Classic Dirt in.....(oops, I almost gave it away ) and the Conondale Classic in Queensland. Add the Dirt Track Nats, the HEAVEN away games and the big long track meetings for my flat track tackle that I hope to get to next year and the old Jeepster will certainly be copping some hard road miles. I'm a poor old retiree so one of the Queensland meetings, either the Post Classic Nats or Conondale Classic will probably have to drop off the schedule purely for cost reasons. In the middle of all that I want to fit in the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens and Singapore to visit my godson and a quick trip to the US to catch up with friends if all the ducks line up. After the crap of the last four years it'll be good to actually get involved on a more permanent basis again.

I keep telling you Firko to move up to QLD, it will save a lot of fuel money, Reggie and your mum will love the climate (plus of course your mum would just be coming home)....you'll be on the "winning" team in the State of Origin and nearly everything else (you can still support the bunnies from up here). You will have to leave your Blues and Tah's guernzies in the litter bin at the border crossing though. .....MMF (Mark Maroon Firkin)...ps....Gally's up here to so he wont have to go far to ride the OW72.

Never ridden at Condo but reckon Dirtracker is on the money with
Woodstock. Did a few meetings their in the late 60s early 70s and was
always a great Short Circuit Venue/meeting.
Was probably at that meeting for Firko's performance but sadly
missed it.
Not sure if they did it every meeting but does anyone remember
they used to put a ramp on the main straight at lunch time and
have a bit of a comp to see who could jump the furthest.

Its  hopefully Nepean, close enough to home, can't win a  trick at canberra, and no knowledge of Woodstock and Wally can go.
