Another 'ol mate Rod Watts tried his new outfit out at the ''Pines'' on the weekend in preparation for the bigun.

Rosco,
Your Godden Weslake should qualify for pre '78 and be very competitive. It would also be very
competitive in pre '90!!! There is a bloke that rides one down here and it is fast. Very fast!
Also getting on to slider classes,... especially up to 500cc 4 stroke, I still think that 2 valve upright and
4 valve upright is the way to go. Also no leading link forks. Simple.
regards  Mark

Good to see Super Seniors included, with no minimum starters. Hope they get a good turnout. What bikes are allowed in? I think whatever the riders want to ride, including sliders.
Also an unlimited pre '78 class slider event would be good.
 cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

The rule was pre 75 I think Walter but if its a pre78 meeting then that's what it should be.
Looking forward to a weekend away from the Syd shitfight.

Super Senior is an all powers pre 75 class, sliders included but for a National it is pre 75.
its a no minimum number class out of respect for the guys wanting to ride or race or just parade their bike off a start line - everyone also gets the Gold MA medallion for competing 1st to last place.
It was hoped that an event like the SS Class would encourage a rider to be involved; the thinking being it is a way to participate for the senior guys without the need to prove how good they were anymore  :)
Im sure there is some crusty old DT guy out there with his bike who would get as much as a kick out of being in his gear in the pits and having a punt rather than sitting on a stool watching!

Yep, you got it in one, 211, just getting the leathers on and being there, on the right side of the fence for a change would be great, But you try conning my missus, EA, into letting me have a bit of a skid on me slider !!!, Doesn't matta, I'll be doing the starts at the Titles and havin' a ball anyway !!
