Great stash on vft.org
« on: December 13, 2013, 11:36:31 am »
There's some interesting tackle in here, I've highlighted the stuff relevant to us in red but the big banger stuff is cheap as well. I'm especially interested in #8. The Pro-Fab frame alone is worth more than the guy's asking price.
                                                                                                   -------------------------------------------
I hate to do it, but the reality is these projects are not going to get done and I have other priorities. Best thing to do is call me, talk, and arrange a time to come look. There's just too much to take good pics of and I'm in too big a hurry to sell. I've tried to be as accurate as possible about what there is. Here goes:

 1. (2) MX360 Yamahas: 73/74 I believe (one has silver tank and the other has been repainted) One very complete and original but has a stuck motor (no clue as to why). Other is nice but non-original paint and has top end disassembled. I have various and sundry parts including some nice polished cases, spare frame, and some OEM side covers. $1200.00 for all

 2. (3) T500 Suzuki Titans. 72/74 or so. One has a title. Various conditions. Will need seats pipes and tanks more than anything. $1200.00 for all.
 3. (1) SC500 Yamaha. (two-stroke single) 1973? Non original paint. Motor turns freely. Needs an air box and resto. Has a very nicely-done "lay down" shock mod. $700.00

 4. (1) SR500 Yamaha 78? (like TT500 4 stroke single) No title. Was going to be a track bike. Still a good candidate for that. Mags. Stuck motor. Dinged tank. $500.00
 5. (2) 1982 CB900F street bikes. One has BRAND NEW smoothbores and is running but will need battery. Corbin leather seat. Vance and hines 4-1. Superbike bars. Good paint. Hand made aluminum headlight blank. Aluminum swing (not installed). Raask rear sets on both bikes. Bike #2 has no title and is a good parts spare or build it for track. $3750.00 for all. The smoothbores alone are close to $1000.
 6. (1) HS1 Yamaha 1970 Two-Stroke TWIN 90cc. Runs but needs some stuff. No title. $750.00
 7. (1) R3 Yamaha 350cc Two-stroke piston-port 1969. Title. Needs a seat to be complete. New top end (uninstalled) and ported mildly. $1,500.00
 8. "Factory" 1973 Yamaha MX250 Replica: Pro-fab frame (rare), AA aluminum swing, Spare pro-fab swing, aluminum tank, Profab triples, some spare stuff. I may have a wheel or two. Frame needs small repair. $1500.00 for all.
 9. (1) 1970(?) Kawi avenger 350. Cool disc-valve twin two-stroke. Has chambers. Needs everything and is a little rough too. $650.00
 10. (3) Kawasaki H2 750 "Widowmaker" Motors. One VERY complete down to the carbs. The others are lower ends with top end disassembled and may need some other stuff. I'll toss in an H2 frame and early ninja wheels and suspension, some other stuff. $2,750.00
 11. (1) GT750 Buffalo motor (stuck) complete; I have a bare frame (non matching) and some forks I'll toss in. $650.00
1212. (1) 1977(?) Penton/KTM MC5 400cc; Recent build. I've ridden it once since build. New all over. Signed by John and Jack (really). Has some sort of fuel issue. $3000.00
 13. (2) 1970's Kawasaki KX250 motors. Don't know much about them. One has right hand shift (both were flat trackers). Need rebuilt. $400 for the pair.

 14. (1) CB750 SOHC cafe project. Aluminum Read Titan Tank and matching clubman seat, Swarbrick 4-4 pipes, Dresda swing, Mark McGrew forks. The "Bike" is not much more than an old frame and motor. NO title. $2750.00

 15. (1) 1992 WR500 Yamaha Two-stroke woods bike (like YZ/IT490). New Pirellis. Fatty pipe. New chain. Zero time engine by Eric Gorr. Big and fast like only a 500cc two-stroke can be. Ported and has squish band mod. Not even five minutes on new Gorr rebuild. $2,500.00

 16.Penton MC5 400; basket; $750
 17. 1982 KTM 420 single shock and front disc. Runs. $850
 18. Bultaco Pursang 250; Blue tank; Signed by Jim Pomeroy; Needs a cdi; $2750

Go for it Iain, I've got enough aftermarket frames waiting in the wings.
