Cut out lanyards
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:23:31 am »
Hi just read on the Trials Australia website that we have to fit cut out lanyards to all trials bikes. Was wondering has anyone heard what the go is with VMX and Vinduro bikes ? PS Everone have a safe and merry christmas .

Pretty sure that only applies to trials, don't have 1 fitted to my sherco but have seen how they fit up & work on other bikes & would fit 1 if we are forced to. Uses a magnetic cap that is attached to the lanyard which you wear around your wrist, when you pull the cap off the switch it lets the contact inside move & breaks the circuit. Have heard that some types have had problems
I'd expect speedway & dirt track to require them to be fitted before vmx & vinduro

VMX sidecars strictly mandatory. Solos it's up to you yes or no.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
