Good day although $25 entry fairly exy. Darcy Ward had a couple of get offs before hooking into the groove and going quick. In the legends Crumpie struggled while McCoy and Gall got quicker, but Gall didn't make the last legends race. Personally very impressed with young Andrew McLeish from Proserpine. Lapped all but 2nd and 3rd in the motorad 10 lap feature. Good to see those Whitsunday boys fly! Great to see so many " big names" giving back in the grass roots. Excellent!

Wow, sounds like a great event, would love to have been there. Hope to see some videos/photos turn up on the 'net.

This isn't meant to have a go at anyone but I'm genuinely curious why a $25 admission fee is too steep? I think that's probably way less than most entertainment around these days. Most of us would happily spend thousands a year on our bikes and racing - heck if I could say grab an air filter for $25 I'd reckon 'bargain'! Why is a great day out watching top riders doing the business not worth $25?

Correct
I was going to promote a Speedway meeting last night for the 90th Anniversary of Speedway,
Which is today btw
tickets would have been $30
Keith Davies and I would have put about 200 hours into it
I would still lose $5,000
Then on Monday  I would have got a phone call telling me how good the meeting was but $20 is too expensive for Pensioners
This year I just could not be bothered, saved the old guy $20.20
The 20 cents he doesn't have to spend on Monday telling me his thoughts.
Anyway TTs are great meetings and I hope Howdy was rewarded for his efforts.
