I though I'd ask all the old heads out there about identifying wheels.
Recently I bought a rear wheel from the Laidley swap.
The seller had Honda written on it, but advice from Pete (recent nice restoration of a Suzuki RMS) who informed me it was actually an RMS wheel.
Checked it when I got home, Pete was 100% correct!
Someone else told me you can check the numbers stamped on the rim to get the age of the wheel.
But apart from years and years of knowledge, how do you pick a suzuki from a honda from a yamaha from a kwaka etc?
Generally they're piled on top of each other at swap meets and half the time the seller doesn't know either?
