I know it's a never say never thing but that CD5 article is the final piece in my 20 odd years with ADB. Let's just say that ADB and I have grown apart. They keep sending me jobs but I'm no longer interested. That ADB piece could have been so much better with captions, more photos and without cutting all of my references to VMX magazine...but let's not go there.

I posted my bit in CD5 topic.
I know things are a changing in VMX ,but there will always be us few here that are pushing the VMX barrow.
Steven and I are pretty busy with modern & vmx, so we also plug these young modern blokes/girls along about VMX.
VMX is up on our clubroom walls and a reunion is due for March 2009.

Yeah Firko, pushing the VMX mag in an opposition mag was always going to be wishful thinking.
It's a given that ADB and VMX are both about dirt bikes but the commercial reality is a battle for the consumers dollar.
I flick through both at the newsagent but I only buy the VMX...and on the news stand thing I always make sure the VMX mags are placed back in front of the others and not half buried!

It's like the water crisis - I do my bit to help out and promote...

Virago means a 'temperest woman', and Yamaha named a bike Virago - go figure.
