What a great meeting - even if I only got 1.2 races in - still great!
Had fun in the first pre60 on "the Beast" HJH, with plans to aim for 3 starts, 3 finishes, not like last year.
Along comes Col, you all know Col with the grey hair etc.  " You must start in the pre65 250, you nominated for it, and have to keep up the numbers.  I'm going to be there too, it'll be fun."
Fun - halfway around the first lap, I drop into a rut, almost come to a halt.  Good old Col - the grey haired one - decides to go through me to make the pass on his CZ.  One handlebar and one arm cannot occupy the same space in time.  Result, a bruise from forearm to shoulder, had to ice all weekend.
Only consolation was a phone call during the week from Col - the grey one - about his broken finger - poor bugger, I felt for him.
I didn't see a sour face all weekend.  Congrats should go to all of us.  VMX is in fine shape when enthusiasts from all over can have such fun - and it's Legal.

The HJH is a very cool little bike Mike :D. We were pitted next to you and I couldn't take my eyes off it. It might not be the fastest bike out there but it had to be the rarest and cutest ;D.

The dates aren't settled yet, on facebook Freaky reckons the first weekend in September but Dawn Baker say August......it's all up in the air at present as it has to work around other events.

Thanks Mark, had a ball in QLD and will be keen to try and line up some leave for next year. Would be great to see your Cheney and DT1 on the track in SA. If your going I,ll pack some extra pegs to keep your camp in one spot. ;D. Terry...

We had pegs but we figured we wouldn't need them.....famous last words with $600 worth of damage to my Jeep ::). The Cheney will no doubt be going but I don't think the DT1 will make the cut. It depends on who'll be riding them but I'm planning on bringing my Hindall YZ250-A and Hindall RT2MX plus hopefully the TriBSA for me to ride in pre 60 if I can get fit/well enough in time. I'm looking forward to it already.

I thought the dates were to be confirmed in October but still haven't heard - I have already "tentatively" booked accommodation - and didn't Freaky get up me?  I am one of those who has to book the time well in advance - especially as it is around budget time for us at work.

I have already "tentatively" booked accommodation -

We find accommodation can be held with a bankcard number, for months on end.
Getting down to that last week before booking in,you may start to lose a % on it.  :)
Best is in the West !!

No Scots left in you and use as evidence the money wasted on outfits, matching outfits at that, just to ride your m/bike at certain times of the day.  Not quite a scotsmans trait!!!
