No price listed, but its for sale. 8)

Looks like it might be 86' chassis ? I guess pre 90.

Looks like a1987 or 1988 RM 250 frame based on the removable subframe and the way the chain guide guard bolts to the frame,it's a cool bike -perfect for the NZ Pre 91 class eh Bill !  :D

Pretty sure Suzuki had a factory 500 team in 84 and the bikes were all water cooled ??

looks like front calliper  mounting bracket is welded on, rather than part of casting.

It's a later model frame guys definitely 1987 or 1988 production RM 250

Heron Suzuki GB had Centre port Aircoolers in 84?

What year would this have been, with Vromans on the watercooled 500 factory Suzuki ? I thought 1984, as it doesn't even seem to have disc brakes. There was a close up picture of one of these bikes on facebook recently and I wish that I had saved it.

A bit of info on works RN 500s, I worked on 1983 Models in 1984,
the Factory stopped Racing at the end of 1983 although they produced spare parts in 2 advance orders early and mid 1984,
they were single downtube frame with offset intake and exhaust, most 1983 bikes were air cooled, Harry Everts was allocated a couple of watercooled bikes, the bike featured for sale, unfortunatley has little in common with 1982 to 1984 works RN500s.
