Did you notice Dave Smith's "wallpaper" around the 3.30 mark 
My old mate, Sprite founder Frank Hipkin had a big opinion on young Dave Smith shown working on the works Maico Sprite at 3.20 plus. That's a great view of one of the rarest of Franks Sprites, they were only produced for a brief time in 1968 until the companies own motors were ready for service. I'd planned to build a Maico Sprite but lost enthusiasm when Frank died and I sold the frame. I reckon the 'wallpaper' would be 'Mayfair' magazine centrefolds
. Do you reckon Bruce Brown might have been influenced by the three Greeves riders in the beginning for his McQueen, Lawill and Smith sandhill scene in 'On Any Sunday'? It sure evoked the comparison in my mind
