'76 TT500 in Swapmeet

Nice bike for $1450us. They don't often come along in such original condition. Even better is the sellers magnificent name, Garison Goforth which should be said out aloud in a broad southern Mississippi* accent while sipping on a jug of moonshine....(*that's where the bike is, making it a bit of a problem child to ship)

FOR SALE

This 1976 TT500 is a low hour bike that just got ridden around the original owners cabin up in northern MI before I bought it a few years ago. It will usually start with one kick winter or summer when you learn the starting procedure. It runs very good through the gears and stops as it should. It gets ridden very little so the carb leaks if you don't turn off the fuel petcock. The float valve must be getting a little varnished. The motor is very quiet and tight. It pulls like a tractor. I installed the 43mm front end which I believe came off of an 81' YZ465. I installed the Progressive shocks as well. I still have the original front end and rear shocks that will be included in the sale. Also has new tapered roller bearings in the stem. The forks have fresh fluid and seals. K&N air filter. The wheels turn true and the rear knobby is practically like new. I have the original rear tire. The front tire is original and shows some dry rot but still holds air. New bar and grips. I don't have the original exhaust system and was told that the exhaust header and silencer that's on the bike is a vintage era Bassani system. It sounds great.
I do not have a title for this bike because it was never issued one. More pictures upon request. $1,450.00

Nice one.  MI is Michigan, isn't it?  Mississippi is MS from memory.  I don't know if Michigan would make it any easier to ship though.

Ooops....I've always thought Mississippi was MI but if I'd have taken the time to look it up I'd have found it's MS..I should have double checked. Sorry for misleading the public but yes, it's just as difficult to ship to Oz. Nice bike for a good price though.
