Alpina Jetting
« on: September 10, 2013, 12:02:56 pm »
Need to get a bike ready for Murphy's Creek and running short of time, so i am going with a M187 Alpina engine in a M180 Frontera roller.
My problem is the Alpina pipe is a bit of a non-fit, so i will need to fit the Circle F pipe that was meant for the M180 engine.
My question is - will i need to jet the Alpina richer with this pipe please?
If so, will bigger Pilot / Main, and raise needle be enough? (also motor is fresh with tiny piston clearence, so i am a bit concerned)
Terry.

It might help if you told us what type and size of carb.

Also what jets you currently have in it.
