Classic MX NATS ( Heads up Heaven guys )
« on: September 09, 2013, 01:06:29 pm »
I will confirm this week if I am traveling to the Nats from Sydney. It's a 99.9% certainty

As I am only taking one bike I will have room for 2 bikes inside my trailer ( locked up ) and a couple on the back of my truck ( cable padlocked to the truck ) I don't plan to stop on way up or back so bikes will be safe from theft.

So anybody that is considering going but is worried about the logistics and costs associated with getting their bikes there can rest easy as I will transport your bikes, gear bags, tools, spares, empty fuel cans ( I suggest getting fuel there, not a fan of full fuel drums on the tray ) etc

I live in western Sydney at the foot of the mountains. You will need to get your bikes to my place prior to leaving date, which will be the Thursday before the Nats with your own tie downs.

That way you guys can car pool to keep the costs down.

Us that we're at the Buladelah meeting on the weekend heard the Committee ask us to attend this meeting. I believe we should turn up in numbers to make this event a huge success. Especially after Classic Dirt has been cancelled. It's not good seeing CD cancelled but a bonus for some is that it will free up some extra cash and also some browny points.

There will be no payment required from Heaven members that take up this offer

Cheers Ted

That's a great gesture Ted. I'm really hoping we can get a decent line up of NSW racers up there for the Nats. Seeing that CD10 has been cancelled, the budget we may have been saving for that event might now be able to used for the Nats. There's definitely a positive vibe in the air, more's the pity the same enthusiasm wasn't obvious leading up to the Post Classic Nats cancellation. Still, that horse has bolted so lets get up to Wyaralong and show that NSW racers can support these meetings when needed.

Last year, given that it was the first time it was used..I would consider the surface to be soft.. I'll be fitting a couple of new MX31 Dunlops for the weekend..

Track is a mix of hard pack in places and sandy loam in others. None is extreme either way.
