Hi All,
Please find a copy of the final race order along with a copy of the final instructions
This has taken 4 days by our race secretary Gaylene to finalise with the limited amout of classes as possible and I think she has done a great job with 214 bikes there a bound to be a few clashes.

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS


ENTRIES
The finalised race order is attached and will not be changed.  Due to the number of events we have done our best to accommodate everybody.

You have been allocated rider no       and have been entered in the following races as per race order     
If there are to be any changes made to the races you are entered in please email [email protected] no later than Monday 2nd June.

Please note:  The following classes have been combined due to insufficient entries:  Pre 60 All Powers,  Pre 65 solo 250, Pre 65 solo 263 & over, Pre 68 unit construction all powers and Pre 68 pre unit construction all powers.  These classes are now known as Pre 68 All Powers.   If you have entered in both classes you will need to nominate which bike you will be riding and email Gaylene @ [email protected] and let her know.  These classes will still be scored separately and trophies will be presented for each separate class.

SCHEDULE
Friday 6 June
Check in and Scrutineering will be from 7:00am to 11:00am
Compulsory riders briefing – 1:30pm
There will be six practice sessions of 10 minutes per session
Saturday 7 June & Sunday 8 June
Racing: commences at 9.00am each day.

ADMISSION
Gates will open from 6:30am each day.
Two entry passes and one program per rider will be given out at check in Friday morning.  Extra programs will be available at a cost of $2.00.  Gate fees Saturday and Sunday will be $5.00 per adult and children free
 




SCRUTINEERING
Boots, helmets, back numbers and licenses will need to be presented at scrutineering.  All suspension must comply with GCR’s.  All background colours and numbers including letters must comply with GCR’s.

Tear-offs will not be allowed but roll-offs will be permitted.

NOISE TESTING
Your bike will be photographed and may be noise tested at scrutineering.  The permitted noise regulation will be 102db.

PIT ALLOCATION
States will be grouped together and we have allowed for approx a 6x3 metre space for each rider.  There will be vehicle access to pit area to unload FRIDAY MORNING ONLY and pack up SUNDAY AFTERNOON ONLY.

MARQUEES
6x3 metre marquees are available for hire at a cost of $200 by
E-mailing Thomo at Tassie Instant Marquees on [email protected].

Security will be on site 24 hours a day from Friday night to Sunday night.  The pit area is very secure and bikes etc. can be left at track but at owner’s risk.

PRESENTATION
GALA PRESENTATION DINNER will be held at Historic Clarendon House, Nile on Sunday night 7:30pm.  Cost will be $40.00 per adult and children $16.00 (up to 12).  Cost includes a return bus trip to and from the venue, three course meal and entertainment. 
RSVP and payment MUST BE MADE by calling Total Events Tasmania on (03) 63 986190 no later than Wednesday 4th June 2008.

VIP PASSES
VIP passes MUST be booked by Wednesday 4th June by contacting Tony Davies at Total Events Tasmania on 63986190.  Additional VIP Passes can be purchased at the cost of $100.00 per person through Tony as well but need to be booked ASAP as places are limited.

FUEL COSTS
Av Gas will be available to all riders at a cost of $2.50 per litre.  Methanol will also be available at $ 1.50 per litre

We have received a total of 107 entries with 214 bikes
They are as follows Victoria 44 NSW 8 SA 2 Tas 30 Qld 4 and WA 19

So thank you all that have entrered and I cant wait to bring on the racing in a couple of weeks

For interests sake, are you running an all age pre 75 solo 250 race and also an age specific race ( say pre 75 40-49 years) as well, which is any size machine?

i think youll find thats race one, and then race 16, so that 2 differant track times

the petrol is pricey. but shit that methanol is cheap, cheaper even than coke.( yes either )  :o

The reason i ask is i am wondering how they can both be "championship classes" as they are both the same race so to speak.

but they are differant classes and differant events so they should be, other wise your age class points would be built up from other races during the day and there would be too many differant numbers of enterants runing lesser or more times in events to get points oppertunies.

I guessing its one event you could turn up and just run the age event and thats it and be the 40-49 champs so to speak.
