Whats going on at ebay?

 Have noticed this week  a few rather rare /desirable VMX bikes up for auction, some are asking premium  cash for them but  ya just dont see bikes like this advertised at the one time on ozzie ebay.

 is everyone selling collections to cash in on the new found wealth or are they scared of the decibel ruling or some other other thing like athritis and winter setting in?

Allbrid, the seller of the AJS an Greeves is the legendary David Allsop, an extremely "interesting" character who once printed his own vintage magazine that is not only highly collectible but is also one of the funniest examples of bad writing ever seen. His journalistic style is considered unique. Peter Drakeford once wrote a column devoted totally to David that pretty much put his "honesty" in the public eye.

I realise that Graeme. That's why I mentioned the sellers stellar journalistic career. The quote you gave gives an indication of what the "magazines" copy was like. ;D
