this is a proper restoration so lunch plates are outa the question. that website that was provided seems a bit beyond me as its non english. there must be a easier way. has anyone seen them on ebay? i guess its gonna be hard to find as most people just use plastic ones these days? but in my opinion they dont look right on pre 70 bikes.

Just a thought here...how's about taking your photo to a Metal Fabricator?
To be honest, my only metal work experience was at High School but I'm sure your plate would be relatively simple for a Tradie to replicate.

it would need to be made from a die and stamped out i reckon. i am a tradie so of course could cut a oval from a piece of 3mm flat but it wouldnt look the same as one with a rolled edge which i could not make myself. i will try find something online, there must be a classic motorcross place somewhere that has them. i will see what sammy miller products has. Other wise might give overlander ago. has anyone got one from Overlander i can see what they look like?
