nabaic motorcycle museum

a mate and i went to the bike museum at nabiac on friday talk about taking you down memory lane we spent 2 hours as we got there a bit late and they were wanting to close and we only checked out the wing of bikes in need of resto  fully and then had a quick look over the rest of the place we are in our mid 40s and the dirt bikes of our youth were in numbers we grew up in the country and there was a vaired array of what was down at the local tracks i reccomend the place to anyone and take your kids it will blow them out what we rode inour youth i can rember thinkin my sl125 with a 150kit and power pipe was the best racing bike you could buy i recon we were lucky to grow up without todays high tech lifestyle

Pokey's stomping ground. grew uo  in that Hole but spent most of my time on that mountain behind it  and the associated forest. Best riding   bar none . Fast slow tight smooth loose mud hard pack marbles sand . whatever you want its in that forest.

 Museum wasnt there in the 70's  but what is ther  and from the 70's is my old heap of shit fully restored as soon as you walk in. Its green , its russian and has a red seat and shit its fugly. Dont blame me for restoring it , i tried to kill it dead but it just wouldnt die.

 Museum is  a nice wayback machine. took my dad  for a wander (who still lives in the area) and it bought back heaps of memories from his youth. They are big on english  stuff and thats what dad use to ride.  Bsa   Douglas Arial.. apparently the rich kids had velocettes.
