NOS Suzuki TM250 Cases
« on: August 23, 2013, 12:31:24 am »
Not sure if anyone here would be interested, but I have a set of NOS Suzuki TM250 cases up on EvilBay.  There is another set that the seller wants $999US for.  Mine are reasonable compared to that pricing.  Shipping Australia would be more, but I'll try to get an estimate if anyone is interested.  Thanks!

Jay....I  just noticed your eBay name "Blackss454" which would make me assume that you've still got the El Camino. If you ever think of selling it, I'd like a shot at it ;D

yeah those usa sellers come up with some really good postage prices then blame it on the postal  companies,i just tell them to get real and maybe you might sell your wares

They use the online postage calculator which is notoriously inaccurate. When the inaccuracy is pointed out to them and you ask that they check with the post office, many say that's it, like it or lump it. Thankfully I've struck sellers that are prepared to double check, and once they realise the huge discrepancy they've nearly all given me the proper rate without argument.

You have to challenge obviously exorbitant shipping fees.

As per firko's post ..... MOST  will get back to you with a much cheaper posted cost.
ie this week a Kx foot peg spring  "buy it now" $9-00 and wanted $24 postage ..... and came back with $10-00 postage   ...... item was then sold.
And others  won't budge

I've bought parts from the same Chicago based seller a fortnight apart and in both cases I've had my purchases in five days plus he gave me a $9 discount after he paid less than he quoted to ship. I wrote back and thanked him for being so fast and honest and he told me that I'm the first person in 300+ transactions that's bothered to thank him. For every arsehole there is on eBay there are three good blokes. When they do you a good deal it doesn't hurt to drop them a word of thanks.
