80 CR250R with Uni filter
« on: August 20, 2013, 08:48:51 am »
Hell from USA. Wife picked up an 80 CR250R at a garage sale-got a new uni filter. Problem is the band clamp will not easily fit over the now two stage element. I realize I didn't spring for the Twin Air clamp on model. Should I force it a bit to tuck it in under the clamp? It's a little tough having to remove the rear air boot already, but really cool bike and one built here in the US ( Ohio USA) , kond of cool for a Yank like me. LOL

Thanks for any help possible. James

They are designed to use with cable (zip) ties & used to be supplied with the new element. Doesn't look flash but does the job.
