Well there you go .. we witnessed one of the fastest at Conondale a few weeks ago.

He was fast, smooth and obviously fit.

And you still sound like a proud father Pete  ;D

one tough bastard that bloke...and his brother ;D :D I saw him shrug off a nearly endoed yz 450 that fell on his shoulder and he just flicked his body and pushed it away while on full throttle. He didn't push hard enough though as the guy recovered and then passed him on the last corner to take the race :o. it was the final big bore 4stroke moto at the ISDE in Gippsland.. Amazing

If for some reason we never see him at the Conondale Classic again we will look back on that weekend and say wow, we witnessed something very special that weekend.

One proud dad.

He'll be back Pete, the Kiwi team at next years Conondale Classic will be very strong, might get young Josh to ride as well. Darryll was also doing some spotting while he's over there for talent for us next year. 8)

I tried to ring the 'usual suspects' this morning but nobody's answering their phones. News can't be too far off.

Who in Aussie in the vets could beat Darryll King Firko?....or Cooksley....or Coppins....or.....Darryll gave everybody a lesson at Conondale with one hand tied behind his back!!....next year...I just have to find enough fast Aussies to make a contest of it. ;D...Might try and get ol Morely and a few oldies over as well.
