The bike shown in the resto thread is now finished & up for sale. The engine has been built to Mugen 360 specs with 83.5mm piston. The standard cylinder has been sleeved to take the large piston, the head modified to suit, crank & cases balanced & relieved as per genuine Mugen specifications. The pipe is based on Mugen 360 pipe specs, the muffler is a hand built Honda replica. The tank is a custom built alloy unit to replicate the 1980 CR250RA production tank, albeit slimmer. The bike is fitted with new Works Performance shocks, DG swing arm, new rims, spokes, tyres, bars & controls etc. The bike would not be EVO legal at national level as the forks are 43mm CR480 units. They have been fitted with upgraded springs & cartridge emulators. The bike runs crisp, clean & strong. The exhaust note is a huge give away that there is a big piston in there. The bike is beautiful to look at. $8500.
