CRC and Round 5 Heaven VMX, Round 2 Roy East Pre 65, 7/8 Sept

Hi Everyone,
The first meeting at Bulahdelah for 2013 was a resounding success with a very large entry and the return of the Pre65s to our track. What a sight and sound the big British twins and single plus the Swedish Husqvarna and Czech Jawa’s. It was a joy to watch!

Coming up on the 7th & 8th September is the 2013 Crawford River Classic meeting with the CRC Trophy races on Saturday which includes races for the EVO,Pre85 and juniors along with the Pre65, Pre70, Pre75 and Pre78 trophy races. Sunday will see round 5 of the 2013 Heaven VMX series and round 2 of the 2013 Roy East Pre65 Classic Scrambles Series. Remember that entrants in the Roy East Pre65 Series will receive free entry for the weekend but that does not include the cost of a one event licence.
This meeting will be on the Grass track - The track has been extensively rejuvenated starting with initial work in late 2011 and completed with final refurbishment during working bees last year and returned to its original condition!!! As the track was too wet for last year’s meeting it has rested for well over 18 months. (weather can always play a part)

What way u running the grass track clock wise or anti clock wise and what's the age groups cheers ek

A Decision on the grass track direction has not been made as a lot will depend on weather conditions.

No age groups for CRC Trophy events (Pre65, 70, 75 & 78), never has been to my knowledge. The EVO/Pre85 event on Saturday will be split into two equal groups dependent on age so the age split can only be done after entries are in.

Last time we raced on the grass track it was run anti clockwise because, and I quote "that's the way it was originally intended to be run" It was a first for me even though most people (I think) including me prefer to race clockwise.

   Longer up hills and less down hills

   I think its better to be on the Gas than on the brakes ..

Don't be like that Dennis just pulling your leg. I got the idea in the clockwise direction the climbs are longer but less steep while the down hills are shorter but steeper so it seems to flow better.

We need you in a good mood for another Vinduro later this year
