Aldi specials.
« on: August 10, 2013, 01:09:21 pm »
https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/saturday-10-august-2013/
I lined up at Aldi this morning to get a couple of the bike stands shown below. Because Aldi had a lot of bike stuff on sale including a helmet cam for$69.99, there were about 60 folks standing in the cold waiting for the doors to open at 8.30. It was like summer sale time at David Jones when the doors opened, punters running to the bike specials, knocking each other out of the way ;D. I grabbed two stands and one of the front wheel stands as well as a camera. The stands are good quality stuff too but we'll see how good the camera is once I give it a whirl.

It works pretty well as it's adjustable to whatever wheel size you've got. I've just put them together and they're both great for what I want them for. I wish I'd bought two more of both, it's probably too late to go over and get some more going by the frenzy this morning :o.

I love Aldi as you know Bazza. You're just jealous because you don't have them in Unzud. Apparently it's not worth the trouble of opening a branch there.
