Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

Yeah that's a beautiful thing alright Mark. Did he build the frame or is it from a known frame maker?

I couldn't remember Stan so I just had a re-read of Kens article in VMX #39. This frame is the original prototype and is a hybrid combining a Honda front half to a Kelvin Franks made rear end. The only other cantilever Franks Honda frame was totally built by Kelvin as were a further nine or ten frames he made with conventional rear suspension. This was apparently the only one nickel plated. To me the Franks Honda has a definite KSI feel about it, right down to using the same style axle adjusters and a very similar swingarm treatment. It's worth reading the issue 39 article, it's a good piece on one of our sports most underrated innovators. They don't make guys like Kelvin any more.

Sadly innovation is leaving countries like Aus (or South Africa). Globalization is ensuring that most occurs only in Europe and the US.
