Only the very first few 250's had the right hand gear change that was not drilled through after a Cpl of months it was blanked off . non of the 360 's had right hand gear system to my knowledge . this could be done with 360 cases and a dt1 68\69 gear shaft . this looks like some of my left over parts creations . I just sat down to read these replies and found that I couldn't remember if my RT1 engine had the right change cases so I rushed out into
my cold old shed and took the below shot. I've only got the short gear lever shaft in the engine but it definitely pokes through the cases so it's safe to say that early RT1's are drilled for right foot change.
And, a day later I took this shot of the rh gear change on my little red flat trackers RT1 motor.
