Theres a photo forum for those who want to show whats in their sheds  ;) generally in the for sale forum its good practice to put what price you are asking for something .

There is  a fairly original one for sale over here , I will try to get some pics and a price up . I think he wants about $5k NZ

Hi
Sorry about not posting a price at this stage
Bike will be widely advertised in the near future, I'm open to offers but I would be stupid to put a figure on it at this stage.
Just wanted to make the people who appreciate these bikes & mines condition aware it is for sale hoping a collector might be Its next owner
Also sorry about the photos not opening , Paul Farrelly came to my rescue & put them up for me thanks again paul
                                                                                                                              Regards Wayne

At the risk of sounding like an ass Wayne, I am not sure you are serious about selling this bike.  From what I can see, this is the second time this bike has been advertised without a price and now you say you will be widely advertising it in the near future???  So will that be with or without a price?

Obviously you want as much for the bike as you can get, that's a given as we all do when we are selling our beloved bikes, but surely you must already know what it is worth to you (not to a collector, but to you mate)???

Anyway I suspect this will upset you enough already so I will stop there but if you want to sell the bike, put a price on it that you will accept.

Good luck
Craig

IMO right now that bike is worth $4,500 to the right person who wants a fantastic starting point for a pool room queen $5000 and as always it's worth what someone is willing to pay.

IMO dont get ppls hopes up tht there is still a good gen cr floating about for someone to buy if u cant come up with a prices for it. It might be worth a few bucks but at the end of the day it aint worth a f@#k load so either keep it or move it on to someone who will use it not treat it like a stupid lounge lizard.  ;) ;D

Someone has to say it so it may as well be me, if it doesn't have a price it's not for sale. It's a waste of everyone's time.

Gone are the days where someone is gunna get a hard on and offer 6 or 8K for something like that. More likely someone will sit in the back ground and wait... If it was unused from new and as new then that's something else....
Nice bike all the same- the owner and whoever built it should be proud...

I dropped a subtle hint about the originality of this bike when I dragged up the old post from 2010,If you didn't get it read Wayne's first "for sale" post from then,He tells us that the frame has been put back to original as it was LTR'ed back in the day as was the hot setup for the time,I seen this bike at HBBB before the repairs were done,This was no simple conversion, the diagonal rail running from the seat mounts to the footpeg bracket had been given a major cut & shut, moving the shock mount to about half way between,The repair job looks to be well done, but the seat, pipe, swingarm & sidecovers were also modified & have not been put back to original by the looks,The pipe sticks up way too high, the seat has chunks missing from both sides at the rear mounts & the swingarm has strengthening ribs welded on top,I am assuming the side panels are repo's,Also take a look at the fork lowers,They have been lightly turned down in a lathe for lightness/trickness,So I would not call this bike original or a good basis for a garage queen,It still looks OK though,BTW,last time this bike was advertised I sent Wayne an email enquiring on the price he replied "ozvmx told me it was worth in between 5 & 10K depending on condition & I have had offers in that range" :)

To give you guys a 'rough' guide, I sold one of these in VERY similar condition (without 'mods'  ;) ) in 2010 for $7000 on ebay.

Mine was for sale though....  :P

$5k is probably a realistic price these days - most of us know they have dropped a little for reasons well discussed on this forum.

This one loooks nice though.

I miss mine .....   oh and the 7k didnt go far....   :-\
