Newish to the Vic scene!
« on: June 30, 2013, 12:10:17 AM »
Thought id say hi (HI!), im new to this forum and newish to Victoria. I raced 3 years with HEAVEN in NSW on a XL250 then later a RM125X. My brother Doug Pullinger whos probably better know in the VMX scene also raced a YZ490 and now a pre 90 KX500.
I currently own a 77 XL100 that my girl friend is learning on, a 82 XT200 that iv been doin Vinduro on, a RM125x that needs a bit of sorting out, a 87 TT350 thats a solid runner and a 78 XT500 that also needs some sorting out. Been doin some dirt track practise days at broadford and hopefully not to long till im ready to ride with VIPER!!
Hope to see ya at the track!!
Curtis :) :)

Welcome Curtis, I am also ex-Heaven after moving down from Sydney 4 years ago. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the Viper race today due to starting a new job tomorrow. I am also involved in the Mitchell Rec MCC which have rec mx rides at Broadford each month. That would be a good club for you and you girlfriend to have some no-pressure riding. cheers steve

Hi Curtis, a few Vinduro rides about as well and the Bendigo club is tacking a pre 85 class onto a lot of their nat terrain and pony xpress events so get the RM sorted and bolt on a headlight and taillight

cheers

Hey Curtis, good to see ya here, we were talking at Broadford Dirt-track one day, I was on an old KX250.  I recommended you to a couple of guys on here regarding you doing some mechanical work, are you still running the workshop?

Sure do remember you Johny O! Was guna call you some time and tell you about my progress on trying to Jet that XS11, I still havent had the chance to spend more time on my RM125x yet.  :( I kinda stretch myself a bit thin over to many projects ..haha.
Yeah workshop is still going, getting a bit quiet in the middle of winter now. Lookin forward to the next Vinduro and CD10!!
