Viper Castlemaine.
« on: June 27, 2013, 07:22:42 pm »

Hi all,
well after a very slow start to the entries there has now been a good turn up of entries which means Castlemaine will be on this Sunday. Thanks to all those that got their entries in on time, the online entering system looks to have been well received.

Don`t forget free camping is available on the Saturday night, at this round Viper has organised for flag duties to be taken care of by a local club which also flags at all the Castlemaine motocross events. What this means for you is no flagging at all this round, simply turn up and race and relax back in the pits. There is a fee associated with the host club providing flaggies for Viper, we have been able to limit this fee to $10 per rider which will be payable at the morning sign in and this will be marked off against the entry list. The $10 per rider will not completely cover the cost of flaggies and Viper will make up the difference needed to cover the cost, i will be aiming to have flaggies supplied at all Viper race meets for the rest of the year and believe this is the way we need to go.   See you all on Sunday.

Regards Peter Gruber. 27/6/2013.

For those going to Viper Castlemaine this weekend just Google    Castlemaine-Maldon Road Gower and use the satellite picture, the track is in this shot.   Peter.

Great day at the track today, I really like the friendship of all the people that come to these events.  Thanks Pete (Gruber) & the boys for putting on a great meeting.

A bit greasy in the morning, thank f^@k for not watering during the day.

Yes was a bit chilly in the swag, although the house next doors dog scared hell out of me at 3am licking my face (thought it was a fox!) but a top day. Slippery at first, then got real tacky and then loose in the Arvo was perfect. Thanks to castlemaine club and to the flaggies: seemed to work well Peter I hope the money situation worked well for the club and all payed the $10 it is well worth it.
Can't wait for Yanakie.
