Vic Classic mx @ Undera this Sunday 16th June.

I don't know why the VCM Committee haven't taken advantage of the promotional benefits of this website but here goes  ;-)

This Sunday is round 3 of the VCM (Victorian Classic Motocross) Championship being run at Undera, never been there myself, a bit north of Shepparton so I believe.

The weather forecast is looking the most perfect for the event, light showers during the week and dry days over the weekend, track should be grouse!

Classes are ...

Pre 60, Pre 70, Pre 75, Pre 75 4-stroke, Pre 80 mini's, Evo & Fast 50's

Entry fee is only $50

Open to members of the following clubs (membership on the day is surely possible) ...

Ballarat Rovers, Classic Scramble Club, Bendigo, Gulburn Valley, East Malvern, Viper, Gippsland Centre, Corner inlet.

The Undera track is a ripper I have ridden there many times before, I reckon I will head out to take some photos of this event.

IT 175g is evo compliant mick, I raced one in viper for a while and should be suited to the flat terrain at underra

There is two evo 3 evo classes, evo all powers, evo expert and evo non expert, I race in expert and A/P which gives me 5 for the day

From all the video's I've seen of the place, they seem a bit 'hit & miss' with the watering.  Tracks look quite flat but fun.

The watering of the track there has always been a problem and there well aware of it, but from what I have been told it comes down to lack of $$$ to put in a sprinkler system, but I know John and a few others are always trying to do the best they can with what they have and I bet John will be working on the track all week so you blokes have a good days riding

I appreciate the hard work that club members put into preparing tracks for events and thank them for it.  I would imagine that on a flat track such as this that a water tanker/trailer could distribute the water a little more evenly?

With the weather forecast as it is, I think the track conditions could well be perfect this weekend?
