Natural Terrain MX @ Heathcote (Vic) last Sunday.

Hey Vic guy's, this sunday Bendigo Motorcycle Club is running a round of their Natural Terrain MX Champs at Heathcote this Sunday 9th June.

I did one of these rounds last year, great fun!  The whole track was on grass.  They have classes including; novice, expert & pro, over 30 and over 40.

I'm riding my '79 KX250 seein as I'm faster on that than my RMZ450 lol.

Funny coincidence is that I am looking at buying some land about 1 k up the road from where this event is being run!

The weather is going to be perfect this weekend, there has been a few showers during the week so dust should not be a problem, it'll take half a day for the grass to wear away anyway  :-)

Bendigo Club just commented on their Facebook page that they are running a 'Pre 90' class this Sunday, so come on boys drag em out.

Was a great day, about 150 riders, the club put on many classes, even 'over 50' and 'Pre 90' but man there was bloody fast kids on modern bikes.

I rode my ass off still coming last, so decided to work on suspension at the back of the field, my excuse and I'm sticking to it  ;-)

I was on the old Husky JO, and News flash, its on again on the 30th of June!! the Echuca round has been relocated to Heathcote so we can do it all again....

There is a couple of clips on utube if anyone wants to have a peek, its by someone faster than me that's for sure.

Yes the track was great, I'd love to get back there, June 30 is the next Viper round at Castlemaine though :-(

Funny thing about the land used for the natural terrain event at Heathcote, I just had my offer accepted for some land almost opposite that property; guess I don't have to worry about the neigbours complaining about the noise  ;-)
