1980 Moto X Fox 250
« on: June 04, 2013, 10:50:15 pm »
hondaphiles - does anyone know if Moto X Fox actually had a 1980 bike out - for privateers etc.  Currently deciding between a Marty Tripes replica and a Moto X Fox bike but other than some pictures I have seen of made up 1980 250s I am not sure if they actually had a bike out there?

thanks

Here it is:

The swingarm on the test bike is at least an inch longer and I think it is running the remote rez shocks, while the other bike has the piggybacks.

Magazines either loved the 1980 CR250 or hated it.  :o

There are pics of that 913 bike in the 1980 Moto x Fox catalogue so i'd say they had kitted bikes for sale in 1980.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Well it is missing the zero from the front but you get the idea ;)

I think if you look back at some old shots it started as 90?? anyway it is a bike that he would want to have, well probably already has??
