Frontera gold medal tail pipe

Hi there, I have just had my GM frontera "returned" to me after being stolen from my garage (see stolen forum) in  august last year and one of the parts missing is the tail pipe.    I can purchase new every other item missing except this part.   Which is unobtainable .   Is there anyone out there who can help me ? Sorry Lyle I'll start again,I get excited talking about Bully's. Look on Gumtree there'a bloke at Broadbeach, Gold Coast,selling a lot of Alpina and Frontera parts,he did have an aftermarket muffler but it's sold,he may have other parts available. If he has pm me I may be able to arrange pickup/delivery for you.And glad to read you got your Bully back ,I never see those GM's for sale any where.

Glad to hear you had a semi-happy ending with your bike.

Is the tail pipe your after like the piece in the middle here?

No Geoff that's not the pipe. But what I might end up doing if I can borrow my mates tail pipe     ( he has the same bike laying in pieces in his garage).     is send it to you to make a copy , if you reckon you could do it.  ?

Do you have a photo of what they are like?

Most likely can make a copy, but doing a ‘one of’ can be time consuming.
Also depends how anal you are about it being exact too. Some manufacturers make parts from stampings which are hard to reproduce, I can most likely make it look close but a ‘train spotter’ will pick it as non original.

If you can pick up a second hand one will obviously be better for you but even if you find a damaged one it may be easier to fix it than make one from scratch, all depends on how it is made.

If you can’t find any easy options I’m happy to look at it for you.

Lyle,  Do you mean the muffler attachment that bolts onto the end of a slightly modified pursang pipe with 3 bolts?  If so, I think I still have one. I'll have a look.

That's the one JC, it is slightly offset as well, pretty distinctive tail pipe.
