The NRL have become way too reactive.

We've now reached the stage where you can actually get punched for being sent off. What a joke.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

State of Origin was introduced to bring QLD back into the game and every boardroom decision from then on has gone their way, the favouritism has gone on for way too FFF'ing long.
Bring in State of Birth and the Moron's will lose half their side.

But what an awesome team the Maroons are right now. That was a pretty convincing win tonight. Bring on round 3.

Hey sliderulz, i totally respect most things you write re VMX, dirttrack and bikes.
I really cannot see what you mean about boardroom etc. The fact of origin is meant to relate to where the roots of your game laid.

But it ain't over yet.......As good as the Maroons are they're not unbeatable. Round three's in Sydney so the crazed Queenslander fan factor is removed bringing it back to a more level playing field.

Your spooked big fella....even your captain only played a bit over 1/2 a game....he got taken off twice and we blooded 2 new young fellas who will be better next game and Laurie Daley will be panicking like all shit....you have a few young knuckleheads in your forwards that lost the plot that might be your undoing in a tight 3rd match.....we where off our game in the first one and you guy's won but last night you got a lesson in rugby league.....I told you years ago you should have retired up here....warm weather, good beer, the best VMX in Aussie and the trophy cabinets full. ;D

Kim Beazley was the Opposition leader.

YouTube had not yet been launched.

Lleyton Hewwitt was ranked fourth in the world.

Katy Perry was still three years away from kissing a girl and liking it.

John, the Tramadol is flucking with your senses old mate, I'd rather roll in putrid dog shit in my Amani suit than live in a state that produced and encouraged redneck political jokes like Joh Bejlke-Petersen, Pauline Hanson and the Terry Lewis led most corrupt police force since Chicago in the 30's. Sure the weather's nice and it's fun to visit but to say that you have good beer (XXXX ???) tells me that the standards are set pretty low. I'm happy to live in a shitty suburb in the most beautiful city on earth if the alternative is to live in the poshest suburb in Brisbane.....(yeah, I know, I just dropped an oxymoron putting posh and Brisbane together in the same sentence);D
