Bill scan the photo into late-ish type of photo program and hit the "auto correct/adjust button. Usually results in the red tinge departing and lost colours magically reappearing.  (it can be a real cheapo program too!! still does the same job) ;)

Stakes ,ropes ,you beaut helmets and riding gear and kids just having a ball!!!
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Unfortunately I don't have many pics from my junior days. Here are a couple from an open meeting at Karmagutsa in 1980.

Anyone recognise themselves in this one?

Can't believe I was ever this skinny  ;D

Cheers

Hey Shaun, what was with the ice cream lid side number plates? Couldn't the officials read the number on the standard side cover?

Hey Shaun, what was with the ice cream lid side number plates? Couldn't the officials read the number on the standard side cover?

Back then the ACU had a rule that made all number plates a certain size and also the side ones had to be rear of the foot pegs. Even the bikes that came with "FIM" side plates still had to be made larger to meet the rule. As the CR's still had the side plates in the old position we had to bolt the plates to the rear seat mounting bolt.

And yeah Ted he has always looked up to me  ;D ;D ;D

Cheers
