Who was the guy on the 1986 Honda CR250RG MXer (i have one as well) and how was it eligible?
No it was not Eligiable Hoony i think he was told that as well
There needs to be a check on some bikes at Vinduro's to make
sure they are ( within the spirit of a pre 85 trail bike )

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but was it the fact it was an '86 model that was the main ineligability? Or the lack of headlight? Or because it was an MX'er? (i.e. not a pre 85 trail bike?)

The Idea is to keep Vinduro within the original definition of a trail bike or Enduro
bike some bikes made after 84 were the same as pre 84 or carry on models.
I dont think there is a problem with them .
In VMX you have different classes because of there handling and motor improve
- ments .and rules to suit..differant year models.
Which is good.. but you will still get people try and bend the Rules to suit them..
