Watercooled XR75 cylinder
« on: May 11, 2008, 11:57:29 am »
I just sold some bits to a guy on ebay and when he picked them up he mentioned he had bought a watercooled cylinder for a XR75K0 but couldn't find a piston for it, i've got a box of old Honda NOS pistons so he brought round and we sorted out a piston.

Has anyone seen one of these before??  The only markings it had was ME stamped on it.
It was a full kit with radiator pipes and frame mounts. The reason I'm asking is it didn't have a water pump and we are trying to sort out if it just works on convection or if the water pimp is missing ????
Looking fo a TZ750 anyone with any leads please PM

Some kits around for the 5 speed engines but never heard of or seen 4 speeds kits. However thats not to say they dont exist. Very possible some limited kits may of been produced.

the ME on it suggests it may be a Mugen kit possibly.

i never knew they existed at all for either the 4 speed or 5 speed.

Sure it was not oil cooler kit that use to be made by Lockhart for the XR75, they bolt to the front down tube of frame.

I second Betric , has the "radiator"  got a pressure cap or overflow tube and collector tank on it ????  Tim
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

It looks like its for water, it has a pressure, I think it must just work on convection??
