Yep it was a top event alright. For me the mix of classic and modern bikes is spot on with I reckon something for just about everyone.

Only downside was a couple of riders with injuries that will need sometime to mend. However Roy tells me that all have already said that they will be right for round 3 which is great news.

Cheers
Shaun

Doh, sorry Mick.
There will be a few classes that you can ride your bike in Dave at rd 3, just not a pre75 specific class.
As Jimbo said the charity meeting in Aug has a pre75 25 lapper on the Sat and a full program on the Sun, the Sat night is usually an event in itself around the fire, bring your Berroca's.

When is Round 3? I'd love to have a ride but probably couldn't fit it in. Still...

Graeme Round 3 will be held on September 15, there is a practice day the day before so plenty of riding available all weekend.

And if you want to have another go around on a vintage bike the charity weekend on 3 & 4 August is a blast. I will put you on a bike if you haven't got one  ;)

Cheers

The Charity Weekend actually fits for me. Tell me more... Maybe start a separate thread with all the details?

Great! Full details should be available soon and I will start a new thread then.

For now here is the spiel our mate Slidey posted regarding last years event. I would think it will be pretty much the same.

"A meeting for pre75 & pre90 bikes only.

Saturday practice and two 25 lap races, Sunday full program of events for both pre75 & 90.

Camping available."

I am really looking forward to this one as I missed last year due to injury.

Cheers
Shaun

The SC500 can be ridden in Evo unlimited and Masters, if your over 40 that is  ;D
If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

Unfortunately I will miss the Charity 2day event this year, it's my wifes' birthday weekend and THIS time we are going away.

Unfortunately like  most of us I see this as a real 'clubmans' day but I'll miss out.

Although we better make it quick, or I'll be eating Gally's dust AGAIN.... ;D ;D

Poncho, tell the boss that its a Clubwoman meeting and you'll be in like Flynn.
You've got the ponytail.
Graeme & Dave, it's a great weekend of old DT bike racing and even better socialising.
I might even ride the pre 85/90/EVO/Whatever it'll be this year. they keep changing the goal posts.

The slippery conditions in the first two races (sliders) de-tuned me somewhat in rnd. 2., I didn't get going 'till the last lap of the last race.

Still, I didn't drop the plot!
cheers. pancho
