Progressive rear shocks

Anyone used these for dirttrack, considering using them on the A4

I had them on my RM125B but felt they were a little under-damped on the rebound, have them on two of KX250A5's and feel the damping is spot-on, need to see if they will fade in a race, I doubt they would in a 10min race.

You get what you pay for......they will hold the rear guard off the tyre.

I do know that the std shocks that came with the bike look OK but are really really bad, WHats the best bang for my Buck for a dirttrack shock or should i speak to terry at Shock treatment.

Thats about it, don't expect much more. They may be ok for dirt track if they have a lot of rebound damping so the bike doesn't wallow thru the turns.

Brett save your money , there were a set on one of my A5s when i got it and like they say good for keeping the rear guard off the wheel only .

Spend a little more on somthing rebuildable and tuneable, those progressives are the old SM Pro emulsion shocks and are a sealed unit .

There are plenty of good rebuildable shocks available for a little more coin

S&W Strokers . I think I've got a couple of sets in the stashateria. I remember buying a set back in 1976 for my VB 360 Monty and recall that they worked better than whatever it was they replaced. Those Progressives look just like them.
