Kawasaki kdx 250

Did a 1983 model KDX 250 ever had a disc front brake, and was there ever a 1984 model made with a front disc brake.

David, I have an 84 KDX250 in my shed at the moment and it has a drum front brake, so I would assume the 83 did also. Do you want to buy it?

86 200 was the first KDX with a front disc.

I've got a complete 86-200 disk brake front end listed in the for sale section. Ready to bolt on with triples for $150 if anyone interested. Sorry bout the thread hijack! :D Stan and Geof are correct Dave, definately drum brake only on kdx until 86, got a 250 manual in the shed of you need any further info.

Thanks Stan but I'm after a parts special as I already have a hybrid KX/KDX.  Wasn't sure what you had but I suspect it's a nice bike  :)

Yep Stan's bike is not a bad thing Simo  ;) can be seen here in the for sale section http://ozvmx.com/community/index.php?topic=26101.0. I'm suspecting it's in exactly the same condition now as it was back then.

Thanks Simo, the 400 also looks like a good thing but I just want to get rid of a few that I'm not using at the moment.
